Winemaker Maryam Hariri is coming to Anfora on Thursday, March 21st, to give a sneak peek of her new project, Azizam Wines. Maryam, a climate change policy maker turned climate-adaptive winemaker, launched her label Azizam in 2022, after 4 years of honing her skills at Bichi Wines in Baja. Her focus is on climate-adaptive grapes and uniquely Mexican varietals, sourced from old vines, lost ranches, and small-scale sustainable farms.
Maryam’s Persian heritage and use of ancient production methods come together to create truly stunning wines with undeniable soul. Join us for this momentous occasion, as Maryam showcases her 2023 vintage in advance of going national with importer Jose Pastor.
